Short Contract Description

In line with Lot 3 of the YPO Uniform and Workwear Framework, the Customer seeks to appoint a supplier to provide Station Wear for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service (SWFRS) and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Authority (MWWFRA). North Wales Fire and Rescue Service (NWFRS) will form part of the procurement, purchasing at a later date, subject to stock holding, supply and funding arrangements.The Customer has a requirement for the provision of Station Wear for all its Fire Fighters and other non-operational staff. The Customer engage in a range of activities including but not limited to:-• Undertaking firefighting operations in buildings and structures, including movable structures• Carrying out rescues in buildings and buildings, including movable structures• Fleet• ICT• Community and Fire SafetyTo meet these demands the apparel must be suitable, robust and flexible in order to suit all roles.The requirement will be for the supply of station wear with direct delivery to the Customers designated locations for managed stock control.
