The Twyn School School Delivery of Childcare, Afternoon Wrap Around and After School Provision

Disgrifiad o'r nwyddau neu'r gwasanaethau sydd eu hangen

The Twyn School is developing a brand new purpose-built double childcare unit adjacent to the school site, to support the delivery of childcare places to the children and families of the local area. The school already have a childcare provider delivering After School and Holiday club so they are now looking to develop the following childcare provision:

An afternoon/morning playgroup/wraparound to support delivery of funded childcare places under Flying Start and Childcare Offer for Wales as well as open to fee paying parents.

The school Governing Body is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from childcare providers who are registered with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) to develop this provision. The EOI is open to existing providers who wish to develop new satellite provisions, new providers and to childminders who wish to register as a group-based provision for 2-year-olds and upwards.

It is anticipated that this provision will be registered ready for delivery from September 2024

Closing date 3pm on Friday 7th June 2024.

Mae gan yr ysgol ddarparwr gofal plant yn barod sy’n darparu clwb ar ôl ysgol a chlwb gwyliau, felly maen nhw bellach yn bwriadu datblygu’r ddarpariaeth gofal plant ganlynol:

Cylch chwarae/gofal cofleidiol yn y bore a'r prynhawn i helpu darparu lleoedd gofal plant wedi'u hariannu o dan y rhaglen Dechrau'n Deg a Chynnig Gofal Plant Cymru yn ogystal ag ar gyfer rhieni sy'n talu ffioedd.

Mae Corff Llywodraethu yr ysgol yn gwahodd Datganiadau o Ddiddordeb gan ddarparwyr gofal plant sydd wedi'u cofrestru gydag Arolygiaeth Gofal Cymru (AGC) i ddatblygu'r ddarpariaeth hon. Mae'r broses Datganiadau o Ddiddordeb yn agored i ddarparwyr presennol sy'n dymuno datblygu darpariaethau lloeren newydd, darparwyr newydd, a gwarchodwyr plant sy'n dymuno cofrestru fel darpariaeth grŵp i blant 2 oed neu'n hŷn.

Mae'n cael ei ragweld y bydd y ddarpariaeth hon yn cael ei chofrestru'n barod i'w chyflwyno o fis Medi 2024

In conjunction with the Local Authority Early Years Department and advice and guidance from Procurement, the Governors of the school will follow a three stage process to select the most suitable childcare provider

Stage One - Expression of Interest from the Childcare provider

Stage Two - Interview

Stage Three - Preferred Bidder Stage, Vetting and Toolkit
