POWYS COUNTY COUNCIL - SUSTAINABLE SUPPLY CHAIN PORTAL - SOCIAL CARE

Powys County Council in conjunction with Business Wales are hosting a virtual event to promote the new online portal designed to support social care providers in Powys with their sustainability and carbon reduction plans.
The aim is to create a supply chain with credible knowledge and skill regarding decarbonisation and climate change. This will increase competition and the response rate to social care tenders and therefore, improve the quality of service that is being delivered.
Working with Business Wales Decarbonisation Specialist Advisers, Powys Council aim to support suppliers to develop sustainability and carbon reduction plans, to better prepare the sector for supply chain opportunities.
The webinar will include:
- Demonstration of the Sustainable Supply Chain portal
- How it will benefit suppliers
- Outline of Decarbonisation Adviser support available from Business Wales
