Disgrifiad o'r contract
Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council (the 'Contracting Authority'), invited tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide a reliable, effective and satisfactory service comprising the installation, operation and maintenance of Electric Vehicle (EV) chargepoints on behalf of the following Gwent Authorities:
a) Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council (“BGCBC”)
b) Caerphilly County Borough Council (“CCBC”)
c) Monmouthshire County Council (“MCC”)
d) Newport City Council (“NCC”)
e) Torfaen County Borough Council (“TCBC”)
each “the Authority” and together “Gwent Authorities”.
At the Conclusion of the procurement it is the intention to award the following contracts:
1. The supply, installation and commissioning of up to 73 chargepoints across 33 locations.
NB: it is a contractual obligation that all chargers must be installed and operational by 24th March 2020 and registered on the National Chargepoint Registry by 27th March 2020 in order to comply with the OLEV grant award conditions.
2. The operation and on-going maintenance of the installed chargers, including warranty and maintenance support (vandalism, abuse, accidents, theft, repair & upgrade), comprising of individual local authority Concession Contracts commencing 1st April 2020 for an initial period of 5 years with an option to extend for up to a further 3 years, reviewable on an annual basis.
