Disgrifiad:

The Council has secured funding under the Welsh Governments Rights of Way Improvement Plan Grant to carry out particular assessments: 1. The accessibility of the rights of way network to blind or partially sighted people and others with mobility problems 2. The extent to which local rights of way meet present and future needs 3. To assess the opportunities afforded by local rights of way for exercise and other forms of open air recreation and enjoyment. 4. Opportunities to contribute to Well-Being and Active Travel The brief sets out the requirements for the delivery and assessment (by the end of February 2017)of the current accessibility and provision of services to those with health or disability issues. This should include consultation with users and identification of their requirements and barriers to using the environment. The report should conclude with a list of actions or a programme that could be developed to support wider participation of healthy activities outdoors.
